Why should I buy
Made to Measure rather than off the peg? 

1. The Shape and Size of the shirt
   • A made to measure shirt is hand cut and sewn to fit the wearer perfectly, providing comfort in wear and an impeccable appearance. A Weisters shirt will satisfy the most discerning customer.
   • The measurements of a normal mass produced shirt are determined by the collar size. Unless your body proportions perfectly match those used by the manufacturer, it is likely that areas of the shirt will not fit satisfactorily. Two individuals may have the same collar size but one may have an athletic figure whilst the other may be portly. Only by making a shirt to measure is it possible to ensure that each person will be happy with the fit.  At Weisters, we use nine different measurements, allowing us to craft a shirt specifically to fit your body sizes.
2. Your choice of styling
   • A made to measure shirt affords the wearer the opportunity to create a personalised shirt. You can specify the style of collar, cuffs, front, hem, pocket and position/colour of a Monogram.
3. Unique Range of Patterns
   • Our range of fabrics is updated on a three monthly basis and allows you to choose a design that you are unlikely to see on offer in a shop.

How do you make your shirts?

• We only use the finest fabrics from which to manufacture our shirts. We stock a wide range of both Two-fold Cottons, Polyester/Cottons and Cotton/Wool mixtures.
• Every part of the garment is individually hand cut by our skilled, experienced staff.
• Collar -  Our two piece collars are hand turned and are available in sizes from 13" to 25". We offer a range of eight different collar styles or you can send a shirt with the collar style that you prefer.
• Split Yoke -  We use 4 pieces of fabric cut on the bias to make the yoke instead of the normal 2. This ensures the fabric will lie smoothly across the shoulders.
• Cuffs - We offer 5 different styles of cuffs, plus of course short sleeve casual shirts.
• Sewing -  we use 16 stitches per inch in all our seams and cross linked stitching for the buttons.
• Pearl Buttons - we use natural pearl buttons
• Spare Buttons in Tail - in the unlikely event of buttons falling off.

How do I take the measurements? I'm no expert.

Simply follow the instructions found on the website. We will carefully check all you details, including the measurements, and if necessary, will query with you before starting the order. It is in our mutual interests that each purchase meets with your approval.

Can I send a shirt that fits me well?

Yes. We can take the necessary details from your sample and make the order accordingly. We will return your shirt with the completed order.

What is the difference between fused and soft collars?

A fused collar is a heavier/firmer lining to keep its appearance looking fresh all day. Normally supplied with concealed bones in the points. A soft collar has a softer lining and is supplied with loose stiffeners.

Can I have my initials embroidered on the shirt?

We can supply your initials in a neat script style on your shirt, either on the left breast panel, on the welt of a breast pocket,  or in the of centre of breast pocket, or even on the cuff.

Can I order a shirt for wear with detachable collars?

Yes. Simple state this on your form, also how may collars per garment are required. The neckband size is normally 1/2"smaller than the actual collar size.

How can I pay?

We accept payment for our products either by cheque or by debit/credit card. We accept VISA, VISA Delta, Mastercard or Maestro.

You will receive a confirmation email once we have your order. If you post your order, this may take a few days.

What if I am not happy with the end product?

If any of our products does not meet with your full satisfaction, please contact us so that we can make good any reason for dissatisfaction. If you are still unhappy at any stage, we offer a full refund.

How can I be certain of security on-line?

Shirts by Weisters treat the security of our customers personal details with the utmost respect.

We do not and will not disclose or share customer information with any other company or third party. We do not approve of the use of spam emails and we protect our customer information at all times. To ensure maximum security for our customer, we never store credit card details. None of our customers have ever reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of purchases made with us.

Everytime you submit personal or credit card information to us, it is protected by the SSL (secure socket layer) protocol at 128 bit encryption the same as used by most online banks. Encrypting information in this way ensures that it cannot be intercepted by anyone else. Your account details are stored securely on our top the range servers, and are not accessible by anyone outside of our company.
